LUGGAGE
Families have a variety of options regarding transportation of luggage to camp. Please read below for additional information, and reach out to info@ramahpoconos.org with any questions.
ARRIVAL BY PARENT CAR
If you are driving your child to camp, please have your child’s belongings packed and labeled with their name and tzrif (bunk), so the luggage can be transported to your child’s tzrif (bunk) by our staff. You will be given directions regarding where to drop their bags upon arrival. In order to keep our campers safe, the road to camp is closed to vehicles.
SHIPPING OPTIONS
Families are responsible for coordinating transportation of luggage to and from camp.
The shipping options are: FedEx, UPS, and DoorVaDoor.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Luggage arrangement must be made directly by the family.
- LUGGAGE CAN NOT BE SENT UNDER THE BUS - NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Campers are only permitted to bring 1 hand-held piece of luggage on the bus.
- No matter how luggage arrives at camp, each child may bring/ship ONLY TWO pieces of luggage to allow for ample space in the bunks.
- TASTE is only allowed 1 large piece of luggage that will be sent under the bus. They do not use DoorVaDoor.

Luggage Delivery for Summer 2025 Dear Ramah Poconos Families, We are thrilled to once again partner with Camp Ramah to help provide you with a meaningful summer experience. Having spent many summers at Ramah as a camper and counselor, Ramah holds a very special place in our hearts. I am also a camper parent. Our kids are now 3rd generation Ramahniks – l’dor va’dor! We are pleased to offer a variety of options for luggage delivery. Please choose the option that works best for your family, which include: 1. Concierge, door-to-door service - Luggage is picked-up/dropped-off at your house, office, or wherever else is convenient for you; 2. Centralized drop-off/pick-up - Luggage is picked-up/dropped-off at centralized locations; 3. A hybrid option of the two - i.e. door-to-door pick-up one-way + centralized drop-off the other. All campers must be registered for luggage delivery at least 2 weeks prior to the start of camp. To take advantage of our early bird pricing, please register online by April 15th on our website: www.doorvadoor.com Our pricing for luggage delivery and a list of the centralized drop-off locations are below. As in years past, we will pick up luggage before the start of camp and return luggage after each camp session. The dates of service are listed on our FAQ page. We will also email all registered families several weeks before pick-up to remind you of our specific pick-up/delivery dates. You will also receive luggage tags in the mail along with written instructions, including your luggage pick-up/drop-off dates. Additional questions? - All pricing above includes up to 2 large soft trunks/duffel bags per camper with early bird registration by April 15th. After April 15th, pricing will increase by $45.
