YOUR SUMMER TO BE WHO YOU ARE!

Staff Plays GuitarEvery summer job gives you job experience. But what summer job lets you grow as an individual in a community of young Jewish adults just like you?

People come to Ramah from a wide range of Jewish observance and background. Thus, Jewish life at Ramah is a mixture of what we know, blended together with new songs, Jewish practices, and experiences. Being Jewish assumes a new dimension when it takes place in a setting of natural beauty amongst a community of friends.

YOUR SUMMER TO SHARE YOURSELF

Everyone on staff serves as a mentor to our campers. While some do so in formal settings, our campers find that some of the best learning comes from informal conversations with their counselors while in the bunk, around the campfire, or just taking a stroll. As a staff member, you truly have many opportunities to change a child’s life.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT DURING YOUR SUMMER?

Both Camp Ramah in the Poconos and Ramah Day Camp start the summer off with an intensive staff week of training and bonding. In addition to valuable planning and preparation time, staff week includes activities just for staff members. Staff training and hadracha (counseling) continue throughout the summer.

Staff with CampersIn addition, evening programs designed especially for staff take place almost every night. Staff members enjoy basketball leagues, barbecues, social programs, and educational opportunities.

You will have opportunities to create innovative camp programs, together with a team of enthusiastic, committed, caring, nurturing and creative people-just like you. What will you gain from a job at Ramah?
